The room was spacious with a handy work desk and cozy lounge chairs. I appreciated the balcony, providing fresh air even though the city view was nothing spectacular.

The Grand City Twin room offered a wonderfully quiet experience, spotlessly clean and equipped with extremely comfortable double beds. Staff were friendly and professional, making the stay even more enjoyable. The breathtaking views and proximity to the beach and town center were highlights, although not having real coffee with breakfast included was a minor letdown.

My room had a lovely sea view, but the shower leaked all night.

This hotel suits me perfectly with a fitness center, rooftop pool, and 24-hour reception. I remember on my first stay, the staff kindly helped me return documents I accidentally left. Friendly, helpful staff enhance the experience!

our stay at the stamford was fantastic! we were in a grand ocean king room with an amazing view of the beach. everything was super clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the hotel is right on the promenade, which has a great variety of food and drink options. the heated pool with ocean views was a highlight for us, and it was awesome to unwind there!

The location was fantastic! We loved the easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The kids really enjoyed the pool and room service was a hit with the whole family, especially the snacks.

In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast options could be better for families. The lack of basic toiletries was disappointing.

The Grand Ocean Twin room had some nice ocean views which I loved waking up to. But it felt pretty dated and not super clean. The bedding was thin and the chairs were stained. There was a broken wardrobe mirror and a damaged bathroom door, which was disappointing. It’s in a great location, but the room could use a refresh for sure.

Great location, decent food

We stayed 1 night and the beach was super close, which was awesome. Staff were friendly and the meals in the restaurant were actually really tasty. But, check-out took way too long—20 minutes is just not cool when you're in a hurry. The room was clean, but parking was a hassle.

I had a pleasant stay at the Stamford in Glenelg. The ocean view from my Grand Ocean King room was absolutely stunning. Morning walks on the nearby beach were refreshing. The attentive staff made my experience enjoyable and really stood out. The breakfast options were limited, which was disappointing. The dining could use more variety to really enhance the overall experience. Despite that, the close beach proximity made my trip worth it.

However, noise from nearby events did disrupt our stay at times.
